Many people inside organisations do not see themselves as technical. They hear about AI every day, but they are not always sure what it means for their role, their workload or their future.
The number one fear I hear in workshops is job displacement. People walk in worried that AI is there to replace them. I address it head on: AI is not replacing 30 per cent of jobs. It is replacing 30 per cent of the tasks inside your job that nobody actually wants to do.
The best starting point is plain-English AI literacy. Help people understand what AI can do, what it cannot do, where it fits into their work and how to use it responsibly.
In my workshops, every single person does something. Not watches. Does. They build a working tool on their phone in the session. A post-call client email. A meeting summary. A document template. Something they will actually use on Monday morning.

When people feel safe to learn, they are far more likely to experiment, ask better questions and find practical use cases that improve the way work gets done.
The key is making it specific to their world. A room of financial planners gets different examples than a room of construction managers. A government team has different compliance considerations than a retail team. Generic AI training does not work. Tailored training does.
